Trapstar Goals Tournament

In April we were invited to take part in Trapster Goals, a tournament of eight men's teams and eight women's teams in West London. We thought we'd take a punt and pull a squad together. And we're so glad we did. The sun was shining, the pitch at Westway Sports Centre was quality and an amazing effort was put in by our girls despite not having any subs and many players carrying injuries.After playing in group stages we secured a place in the semi-final – hurrah! (but were knocked out on penalties). Whilst we were gutted not to make it to the final, we had such a great time meeting to many other women's teams. The atmosphere and support for each other was so relentlessly positive – we can't wait to arrange friendlies against all of our new friends: Food&Lycra, Boiler Room Ladies FC, Football Beyond Borders, Wonderkid Football and the tournament hosts Trapstar.
